Screw cap for glass jars with DIN18 thread or narrow mouth bottles with a diameter of 18 mm
This closure is made of polypropylene (PP) in white. It incorporates a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) disc to ensure a tight, leak-free seal.
Teflon or PTFE is an inert material, so it does not cause contamination or alter the characteristics of the contents. In addition, it can be steam sterilized at high temperatures.
It is recommended to be sterilised in an autoclave at a maximum temperature of 121ºC.
