16×100mm Glass Test Tubes and Aluminium Screw Cap
The culture tube is basic for any professional laboratory, research center, amateurs of scientific experiments, schools, institutes, universities and even in cuisine, restaurants, crafts and decoration, among others.
Made of neutral 4.9 glass, it is like a special borosilicate glass of high chemical resistance with an average coefficient of linear expansion of 4.9. It is a first hydrolytic glass and is characterised by excellent chemical and physical resistance, neutrality, and impermeability. It can be cleaned by autoclave up to 121 °C.
The technical characteristics of this glass meet the requirements for the manufacture of pharmaceutical packaging and cosmetics and, recently, has also been added to new trends in food processing and haute cuisine kitchens (such as molecular cuisine).
The aluminium lid can be gold or silver unsealed and of food grade quality. This closure has an inner disc of expanded polyethylene (EPE) that facilitates that the closing is hermetic, without losses nor leakages of its content.
