Kjeldahl Ball with Ground Glasses Joint JS 29/32
Prefabricated glass parts with ground joints facilitate connection and assembly in laboratory equipment. Ground glass joints have standard dimensions and are identified by NS or JS.
A glass piece or glass tube is supplemented with threaded inlets, thermometer adapters or hose connectors for venting or introducing vacuum into a system.
The frosted glass joints fit together with airtight connections and the use of clips is recommended to maintain this joint. See accessories for the appropriate clips for the size of the joint.
This Kjeldahl Adapter is placed between the flask and the condenser to avoid the dragging of reactions that tend to form foams or bubbles.
Top standard taper outer and lower inner joints, both being the same size: JS 29/32 .
The total length is 220 mm and the ball is approximately 65 mm in diameter.
