Flat-bottom spherical flask, 2 litres, with ground neck 29/32
An instrument designed for distillation and boiling processes, uniform heating of contained substances, mixing of substances, among other uses. Its flat base provides stability for placement on stirring devices, among others.
It is made of borosilicate glass 3.3 according to DIN, ISO, and USP standards.
It has a white screen-printed area for labelling.
Essential laboratory material for schools, colleges, universities, educational and research centres.
General properties of borosilicate glass 3.3
The glass is characterised by its excellent chemical resistance to water, saline solutions, acids, bases, and organic solvents. It is only attacked by hydrofluoric acid and, at high temperatures, by strong bases and phosphoric acid.
Chemical composition
80.00% Silicon dioxide; SiO2
